I visited my friends at the LaSalle Branch Library and discussed culinary issues. My former colleague and friend A. gave me this tip about avoiding scorched cookie sheets: parchment paper. When baking, place parchment paper down first. Then you don't have to place oil or anything on the sheet before placing your cookies, etc. on it. Also, it makes for easy cleanup for the tray. Easy peasy! Thanks, A for the tip! Now we just need to buy new cookie sheets to go with the parchment paper...
